Accessing food
There are various food projects available throughout Suffolk including the following:
Foodbanks (emergency food support) - you may need a referral to access Foodbanks so please contact the Foodbank directly for support.
Top-up shops/Pop-up shops - these are open to all but a small fee may need to be paid to access a selection of food intended to top-up your normal grocery shop.
Pantries/Larders/Fridges - these are open to all and are completely free to access.
Other offers are available throughout the area from HAF (Holiday Activity and Food) programmes to FSM (Free School Meals) to offers from supermarket cafes.
You can find more information on these items, and many more, as well as details on where they can be found by visiting Suffolk InfoLink here.
As always, if you find that you would like any additional information on the details highlighted above, or if you think that you would benefit from being signposted to a different service, please do not hesitate to contact one of your school's DSLs (Designated Safeguarding Leads). Alternatively, you may wish you to contact one of your school's DSLs (Designated Safeguarding Leads) or your school's FLO (Family Liason Officer). You can find your school's FLO here.
