ARU Law Clinic

ARU Law Clinic offers free 30-minute advice appointments in all areas of family law, including divorce, separation, child arrangements and care, currently operating via Zoom or in-person appointments in Cambridge and Chelmsford. All advice is given by lawyers from East Anglia who volunteer with the clinic.

Cafcass - FJYPB (Family Justice Young People's Board)

FJYPB are a group of over 75 children and young people aged between seven and 25 years old who live across England and Wales. All of their members have either had direct experience of the family justice system or have an interest in children’s rights and the family courts. 

They have developed a range of top tips aimed at helping parents, carers, family members and professionals to support children and young people which you can find here.

Cafcass - Planning Together for Children

Planning Together for Children is a course that promotes cooperative parenting. It is a service that Cafcass provides on behalf of the Ministry of Justice. It supports parents to put the needs of their children first while they are working out how they can parent together when they are in the process of separating and/or living apart.

A positive, empathetic and empowering ten-step guide for children whose parents are splitting up. With expert insight and practical tips from child psychologist, Angharad Rudkin, and co-written by children's author Ruth Fitzgerald.
