fostering belonging and connection

Excellence | Empowerment

Engagement | Equity

ASSET Village is the Trust’s unique strategy that takes a fresh look at what a school’s role is, and places it at the heart of the community. At its core, the Village is about belonging, and about the future.

As a family of schools our ambition is to reach out and grow opportunities that enrich learning for all, beyond the school gates.

The Village approach represents the impact children and adults can have on the places and communities they serve. By supporting and engaging closely with local families, businesses and organisations, our schools become more than just education centres for children; growing into focal hubs of support for learning and wellbeing.

Much of our Village philosophy is informed by the work of Professor John West Burnham, our late Chair of Trustees, which you can read more about in his book with Malcolm Groves 'Flipping Schools'.
